A booking is a mutual commitment — we go out of our way to provide you an unique experience and you go out of your way to come all the way to join us on one of our Sea Kayaking tours.
Once your booking has been processed, you will receive a Reservation Confirmation email that outlines a summary of your booking. Please review the information carefully and contact us immediately at email@example.com if you have any questions or require any changes.
We understand that sometimes plans may change and you may need to amend or cancel your booking with us. If this is the case, please contact us and provide us with the booking reference number and we can assist you making these changes.
Cancellations are allowed anytime. However, cancellations falling within shorter notices will occur a cancellation fee which varies according to your booking specifics as stated below:
We very seldom have to cancel tours due to weather conditions,— since we began our Sea Kayaking operation in 1998 we have only canceled a total of 6 tours.
If we face weather conditions that we judge will affect the safety of the tour and therefore decide to cancel your departure we will refund your tour in full. Often we will however manage to work around weather and still make adjustments for having a great day out — we will discuss options for this with groups on the actual day if needed and provide alternatives.
If a tour has started and gets affected by bad weather in such a way that we have to shorten your tour significantly we will use our best judgment and refund you partially.
We do not cancel tours due to rainy conditions, it will more likely be strong winds that would cause cancellations. These winds can occur but very seldom last more than a few hours so they are more likely to affect our shorter tours where we have little or no options for working around these issues.
We will not accept short notice cancellations from your side in case of rain and cancellations based on weather will be handled according to our general cancellation policy above.
Refunds for tours paid and then later canceled are processed via e-mail communication only for tracking & accounting reasons. We will work on issuing a refund as soon as possible after the booking has been canceled — usually within 2-3 working days.
We can refund the paid amount or part thereof if only a part of your group cancel to the card number provided or used for the booking. Due to our Payment Partners processing fees charged on your incoming payment and our outgoing refund, any refunds will occur a 5% handling fee that will be deducted and lacking on the actual refund you will receive. Please note that currency rates may also have changed between the time of your payment received and our refund being processed, affecting the final amount you will receive back. All refunds are processed in Norwegian Kroner ( NOK ).
